In the OR school, barista training centre, we have been using Sage espresso machines for many years. They are ideal for any beginner but also for the slightly more experienced home barista.
When you use a Sage coffee machine, the machine helps you maximise the potential of the coffee beans. That's not to say it's super easy but it is easier to control variables like grind level, amount of coffee, pressure, ... under control.
